  • Absolutely not! We welcome anyone who has climate or sustainability communications as part of their role. You might be the CEO of a climate startup, a sustainability manager, a community leader, or anything else. This is a space for everyone to learn, grow and amplify their impact.

  • While there are a few other collectives out there, and they do GREAT work, the Climate Communications Alliance is different because we are a high-contact community.

    That means we have regular sessions where you can talk directly to other members to brainstorm and share ideas, like at our Work in Progress Wednesday sessions.

    What’s more, our resources, courses and live sessions are grounded in the latest communications research, giving you effective tools to reach your audience.

    This community is like your virtual team, providing expert input, guidance and support to help you transform your communications impact.

  • The Alliance was founded in Toronto, but our members come from as far afield as Australia, the UK, the US and more.

  • We host regular virtual gatherings, from brainstorming and ideation sessions, to networking events and relaxed hang-outs. We also host in-person events from time to time and these will grow as our community expands.

  • The Alliance is led by award-winning climate and sustainability communication strategist, Ali Wines, with the support of the founding membership team made up of top communicators and creatives from around the world.

  • We are a social enterprise and we’re working towards establishing a nonprofit foundation. Being a social enterprise allows us to be more agile, while covering the costs of running the community and delivering value to members.

  • Our members include communicators and creatives from a diverse range of backgrounds. We have strategists, photographers and film makers, designers, artists, digital agency leads and more!
